HYATT PLACE LAKELAND CENTER, Lakeland – Your ideal downtown stay

I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The rooms, although a bit musty and in need of maintenance, were still functional. The service was friendly and helpful when needed. The location, while closer to the event center, was isolated and lacked nearby amenities. The dining experience was superb with a great selection of dishes. Overall, the hotel has its ups and downs.

I had a mixed experience at the hotel. While the rooms were spotless and comfortable, I did notice a mildew smell, especially near the elevator. The lack of housekeeping was a downside, and the lingering smokey odor was not pleasant. Despite these issues, the service was exceptional, with the staff being really friendly and accommodating. The location, although not offering many options, was perfect for the conference I attended, being convenient to downtown. The dining experience, while okay and inclusive of the morning meal, didn't cater well to special diets. The lobby area was a bit over the top for my taste, but the complimentary breakfast and free parking were appreciated.
